Hi,

I tried to play aiff format cd thru real player.

The real player reads that cd.The problem is ---> it is not producing clear quality sound...i could lot of disturbance...i cannot give a clear picture ..wat kind of sound it make...there was lot of disturbance...

i tried playing in someother system..i was able to listen...i was surprised..how it could happen..in fact my system much more recently bought than other system..still my system was not able to play it.

could you give me testing method to check wat makes such kind of noise when i try to read it thru real player or quick time.

Thank You.

If it played ok on another system, then the files on the CD and the CD itself appear to be ok.

Does your CD-ROM drive play other types of audio CD's ok?

Was the other system also using RealPlayer and Quick Time to play it?

Did you try shutting down all unnecessary background programs(especially an antivirus), and reducing your sound card's acceleration?
