AI. files turns into bitmap??

Well, I got something in illustrator.

it's in vectors, but if I copy/paste it, it turns into PNG's!?

So I can't do any of all the cool alpha stuff.

It's the same even if I save it as a .ai file, it doesn't hange anything - it's imported as bitmap.

open your AI file. go to file>export>choos.swf file. you have the option of saving all ai layers to swf frames (which means every AI layer turns into a flash frame, great for editing) all file to swf file (self explanitory)
then all layers to swf file (again self explanitory) all files are editable in flash! hope this helps!
