I've never pursued this option but as our enviroment becomes more flexible the expecation for my option 81c is to do so as well. I currently have some sales engineers tasked out to develope a solution but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or seen an application like this in production

thanks

The thought is for a client not to have a physical set but have the ability to dial in and CFXA their phone to wherever they may be for the day, whether cell or home office

is it something we can set up into the switch as well as offer a third party application, I've been reading and it seems DISA has something to do with it.

see hot desking on Nortel's website. It's a web based application that the user puts their phone number into that they want to receive calls at. They can also make calls. Sounds a bit like Google Voice.

to use remote call forwarding from off site you would need to set up disa.. to remote call forward you dial the rcfa code defined in 57, then the scpw, defined on the set, then the forward dest plus #.. since the process starts with INTERNAL dial tone to do this from the pstn disa is a must..

disa can be hacked allowing user to dial free ld, UNLESS you use a decent pwd and restrict the disa dialtone to ncos 0.. disa is a load 18 toy, if you need help setting up either disa or rcfw, let us know, someone can walk you through either..

hot desking is a better way to approach to task

I think DISA is going to be the option we pursue, can some describe how to enable it, it'll allow for me to set up a test set prior to implementin this ona larger scale It would be appreciated.
