Hi,

Don't know if this is possible but here is the secnario:

We have agent sets being recorded at random.
Four of them have stopped recording & are giving a busy tone.
When I manually observe them from a supervisor set, I get a busy tone as well which seems to indicate they are already being observed.

I know that by just doing a change on the sets it will clear the fault but as this is the second time the issue has happened I want to dig a bit further before clearing the issue, and pinpoint if it is coming from Meridian channels locking up or if the recording application is not clearing down the channels correctly...

My question is:
Is there a command in Meridian or in PDT I can run to find out what TN is observing the agent phone?

Thanks,

Áine

If you use a recording system like alot of call centers, you have to remember those ports observe the agent also, and that will give you a busy signal if they are doing their thing, ie parrottalk, etalk, witness etc

If you did a LD81 LST on FEAT OBV that would at least give you a list of all the TNs that you could LD80 Trace - I *think* you would see it in Trace.

Thanks for the replies guys:

There's 35 sets that can observe - 32 of them are the Witness recording channels.

According to Nortel if a supervisor set is observing someone & it gets disabled, the observe won't clear down properly so it will look like the set is still being observed.
I have found that one of the digital line cards used for Witness keeps getting disabled. I have replaced it but it is still going down. The other card is fine. I'll get Witness support to check if they can see anything on their end that might be causing it to go disabled.

Thanks again for the help:)
