This may be a tricky question to answer and I'm sure going to agent max will require upgrades on my part but assuming I was willing to pay for upgraded equipment and processors what is the max agent capacity of the following Nortel switches?

Option 11
Option 11C
Option 11E
Option 51C
Option 61C
Option 61E
Option 81C

Thanks in advance!

Not too difficult.

The short answer is "240." The exception is Option 81C if software is 25.x or later, processor is CP PII, and you have purchased feature package 388. In that case, the allowable number of ACD DNs and/or CDNs increases to a maximum of 1000.

(This answer is per customer in a PBX. In those cases where you have a multi-customer PBX, remember that you can have up to 100 customers. So, in one sense, you have capacity of 24,000 ACDs -- but in a practical sense, you must limit your scope to the per customer limit.)

Machine Type
ST STE NT RT XT 21 21E 51/61 71 81

Maximum number ACD DNs / CDNs per customer
240 240 240 240 240 240 240 240 240 240

Maximum number of agents per system
120 120 1200 1200 1200 120 120 1200 1200 1200

Maximum number of agents per ACD DN
120 1200 1200 1200 1200 120 1200 1200 1200 1200

Note: With X11 Release 19 and later, the maximum number of agents per system has increased to 10,000.
The number of agents on a system must be within the parameters set by the IDLB and IDUB prompts in
LD 23.

At least this is what the RLS 25 books say.

Hi,

The numbers typed above are the system limits, the real limit are the number of licences you have in the switch for Agents/digital sets/analogue sets (Starting rls 24)
