Looking to see if anyone has customers on Agent greeting and callparrot with 3904's off the talc card. The release of switch I'm at is 5.5. My issue is this when and acd agent is logged in and recieves a call via acd it is fine. But if they have to make a call off there private line when they draw dial tone it is delayed by 5 to 6 seconds and they get a splash of the buzz tone. This has been real tricky.

If this is a new problem I suggest disabling and reseating the card/s.

You might also need to upgrade the firmware on the TALC cards.

War Eagle!!

be careful with reseating an agent greeting card. My boss reseated ours in the middle of the day once and the entire PBX crashed.

Only reseat it after hours and as a last resort.

Here's the fix.

TALC Card Issue – DN key pressed twice to get dial tone

After receiving a call on the In Calls key of the ACD set using the specific Nortel feature Force Call the agent will attempt to place an outgoing call on the DN key. The issue that arises is the key must be pressed twice in order to receive dial tone.

Customer Configuration:
Must be ACD set
Must be configured for the feature Force Call on the ACD set
Must be running PBX Release 5.5

TelStrat is aware of this issue and has provided a permanent fix via a new upgrade of TALC card firmware, 1.5.2c.
