agent beep notification

We have cs1000e 7.6, genesys/symposium, verint and 1150 agent sets. In set programming AST 00 01 and IAPG 1 and CLS WTA. Key 0 is ACD queue and POS ID, and key 1 is SCR DN; both are aquired. We get a tone (beep) notification of incoming calls, but intermittently no beep on key 1 calls; and i wondered if anyone had this issue or had any ideas? Also intermitent dead air issues as well. We patched our 7.5 back in january and that is when at least dead air issues began...since then we have unpatched, repatched, and upgraded to 7.6; but issues still remain :(
 
I would check your DSP channels to make sure all are acquired and working properly.
 
We have a CS1000 7.5 with AACC 6.0 and Avaya ACR (Verint). In the CLS of the sets do you have "RECA". I don't think that would solve the beep tone issue, but who knows.

We had a intermittent dead air issue that turned out to be between our LD carrier and the carrier they were receiving the call from, an inter-exchange issue. It was very difficult to isolate and prove. Lucky our LD provider was very helpful.

yes RECA is in CLS for sets, but this should just be for recording via verint not for actual call beep notifications
