Agent Arcserve on MAC Os X

Hello,

I have installed a Arcserve Agent on Mac OS X.
My ARCserve Server is on Windows.

The discory on the console is OK. But after i want to select user/password and i have got a problem "Unable connect to agent"

On Mac Os in /opt/CA/BABcmagt/logs/caagentd.log :
I have this errors :

(hostequiv) Failed in getpeername(9), Socket is not connected
...
(stcpReceive)Failed in recv(9), torcv=8, length=8, Connection reset by peer

On Windows Server in C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup\LOG\ubrowse.log :

Those are WinSock errors, but no way to know were or just what the problem is.

Some simple tests may help.

Try a backup of other systems Windows & Mac to see if the problem is at the server or target system.

Whith other systems I don't have the problem. Only with this Mac server.
I don't have other Mac for make a test !

what is the version of ARCserve?

Hi,

The version is 11.5. Yesterday, I have called the CA support and after to install a patch the problem is resolved.
