I have recently upgraded our Windows 2000/SQL 7 server to SQL 2000 and now I can not open Enterprise Manager or via MMC can not add a snapin.
The following error box comes up:
Repository Engine 3.0 or higher is required to run Meta Browser.
OK, if i need Repository Engine 3.0 or higher how do I install it? Should it not have installed with the SQL 2000 upgrade?
I am having a difficult time finding the info at microsoft or on google. Ernie

Hi There

Check that the version of the file REPODBC.DLL in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft\Shared\Repostry is version 2000.0.xxxx.0, This version is for SQL Server 2000 and Repository 3.0. If you have the wrong version you can copy the file
from SQL Server 2000 Setup CD and re-register it using REGSVR32.EXE.

Hope This Helps

Bernadette
