After reboot, phones log in with random extension??? 1

All,

Each and every time Manager is re-booted, the Avaya phone-sets automatically log in as a random user.
An example occurred this morning where a users phone on our 3rd floor was logged in with a user from the 6th floor - this user has never stepped foot on this floor?!

Also, whenever I personally log out, I have to log out again as this defaults again but to the same user each time.

Has anyone experienced this before ?

Yes Avaya 5410 IP Hansets and Hotdesking - although 99% of users stay on the same phone if that is relevant?

you sure they are IP? 5410 handsets are digital. 5610 are IP.

check again.

OK, so if they are hotdesking, delete all the BASE extn numbers and turn off "force login" if turned on.

should sort the issue.
