Hi,
Please, in IPOffice can I affect a line to a touch, so when I receive a call in this line a can see its name.

Thanks

Put the name and number in the directory
then when the call comes in with the number you added in the directory this will be shown in the screen of the phone and in phone manager

You can assign a line appearence key on your phone and also to the line, and if need be give the line key a line eg Private line.
I'm not sure if this is what you mean though.

I want to see the name of the line, not its ID. Is it possible?

What version are you on?

I say this as there are a few ways

Im a little confuesed now.

If you are trying to give a line a name give it an appearence and in button programming assign that line a label.

If you are trying to tag a DDI then point it to a Named group and this will show on the screen.

I hope I am understanding your post correctly. If not give us some more details.

I test the appearence ID, but it show me the line ID and not the line name.
For example i have tow lines:
0XXXXX for marketing and
0YYYYYY for sales.
If I get a call in 0XXXXX, i must see on my phone the number caller and marketing, not the number caller and my number.

Thanks for your time.

Point the line to a marketing group, it will display the group name.

If you have three lines, one is sales, point it to a sales group and put your users in. One is for technical, point it to a technical group, it will display the group name. So on and so forth.

This next bit will not hit the spot for you but i will share this anyway..........

SHOW_LINEID_NOT_OUTSIDE
By default, for calls where no incoming caller ID (ICLID) information is available, the IP Office inserts the word "External" wherever ICLID information is normally displayed. The NoUser source number value SHOW_LINEID_NOT_OUTSIDE can be used to make available within the configuration for each trunk and channel Line Name and Channel Name fields. The text entered into those fields is then used with external calls without ICLID information.

This feature is not used with SIP, IP DECT, E1R2 and S0 lines.

On T1 lines, a Name field is also made available for individual channels and if set overrides the line name field.

This feature does not override the display of Withheld if the caller has withheld their ICLID information.

Where a Name is entered, that value is used to identify calls with no ICLID information.

For line appearance buttons, if set the Name replaces the Line Appearance ID as the default button label.

I tested groups, but the problem is that the second call always find line busy, that's why i search an other way.
