Advice to connect 2 Avaya IPO over internet

But yes, this is the question : I need to connect 2 sites over internet , the 2 system have the VCM32 card and the
networking license , what is the best way to make the connection , the internet connection is a DSL in boot sides with
static public IP , only doing the port forwarding in the DSL modems or DMZ working or need a VPN ?? Thanks for your help..
