Advantage on NW4.1 over 3.12

Can anyone tell me the advantages of NW4.1 or 4.11 over 3.12 ?
We have a 3.12 server for 5 years, been very very stable, but we also have a copy on 4.1, will be gain much advantages by upgrading ?

Also would love to find out the max memory/hdd NW4.1 can access, as our data grow, we needed more and more storage.

The main advantage is the directory servives NDS against the bindery >= 3.X. If you have many users and other network ressources you should upgrade. If not remember "don´t touch a running system"
