If any of you guys wanna get another ADR2.120Si, let me know, i have one that's never been used, except in training.

Just a few questions...
1) Do you still have it
2) How much do you want for it
3) Do you have any tapes with it ?

Yes I still have it, it's in the original package and comes with just the one tape that came with it in the original package. As far as how much I want for it...I guess like half the MSRP for each. so $500 for the ADR2.120 and ADR2.60 $325.

Sorry, I found one cheaper on ebay. Can you tell me if the cleaning tapes are device specific ?

the cleaning tapes are not device specific.

Two things Re despooling-
1) You can recover the tape if it despools
Carefully undue the screws on the back open the case and wind the tape back onto the other spool .

You will have to wind it on until you see two little holes in the tape near the metal side.

I think this was caused by a bad sector on my hard disk resulting in a file with no endoffile.

I have repaired 5 like this. I then used a second, reliable machine to format them.

2) Is there a way to reset the Tape drive. It still can't seem to find the end of tape marker. It is an ADR2.60 USB. I took it out of the case and mounted it as ide to Flash it as 5.05 and the flash said it was OK but if left ot it's own devices, it will happily despool a tape. Could this be a hardware problem ?

Good Day
Will the Echo 1Safe 3.7.02 work with the DI-30 on XP Pro?
Thanks,
Dave

LostinMontana - Yes.

xxxyyzz1 - sounds as though it's not detecting the end of tape marking indeed, but that would be a problem with the tape if it's able to read everything else, I would think. Unless of course the head is misaligned somehow...
