I would like to create an Access 2000 Project to use with a MySQL database server.

Is this advisable..?

Are there any pitfalls or gaps in functionality that I might get surprised with..?

One of the primary reasons I want to do this is for the "Database Diagrams" feature. This is because the database relationships I have been designing (as a regular Access 2000 MDB) have become quite complex, and the Relationships Window is getting hard to handle. Diagrams are the perfect solution to this, as I can split the relationships up into sections.

Thanks.

Yes - quite a major one. It can't be done.
ADPs are for MS-SQL Server only (unless you can link from SQL Server through to a mySQL database)
