ADOX reference? 1

I have activex controls 2.7 and ADO ext 2.7

but when I type ADOX. the appropiate choices don't display.

please point me in the right direction

Do you mean the dot syntax in the VB window?

Do you have the reference for "Microsoft ADO Ext. 2.7 for DDL and Security" checked? If not, check it.

Also, do you have your options (from code window only) set to Editor, Auto List Members? If not, check that.
 
I really appreciate your quick response yesterday.

your also* suggestion got me what my friend wanted, but he ran into bigger problems as a result.

We have a database that works fine on our computers. but on the extranet through citrix server has errors like
"Your database or project contains missing or broken reference to the file DAO350.DLL" so we thought if switch to ADO this would eliminate the problem. i think our logic was flawed.

this is a problem i think i am going to have to link to from another forum. if you have any pointers thanks in advance, if not thanks again for helpful post yesterday and here is a star and much gratitude.
