Hi,

I have a small VB app that runs great on 3 of my machines including a Win98 box. I have a customer who is saying that when he starts it he gets an error:

ADODC unknown error ADO. After I click off that I get - Run time error 430. Class does not support automation or does not support expected interface.

I have included in my distribution the Control for ADODC "MSADODC.OCX". I have tested installing the distribution on other machines too with no problem too.

It happens when the app first loads the main form. On the form is a FlexGrid that is filled from the ADODC.

Can anyone make any suggestions please?

Sincerely,
Steve

What OS is the customer running on, and what OS is your development machine?

The development machine is w2k Pro and I tested it on w2k Server.

The customer is on Win98.

I then tested on a win98 box here with the same error.

I eagerly await your response.

Sincerely,
Steve
