In my project, (I'm attempting to make an Anime Music Video), I have imported rather large clips. Any time i try to edit/razor/slide the little yellow video nar around, it gives me the "illegal operation" window once, then the program closes, then the illegal operation window flashes again. Why? And how can i fix this?

hey siam,

i have had this same problem, but after a fresh install, so far so good. also if your running XP make sure you have sp1 installed that helps also.

service pack 1. Go to the windows upate site to find make surey ou're updated.

Also, to to the original poster, what is the properties of your project, what codecs are your clips using (assuming you're using AVI's) . if your project settings is in conflict with the settings of your AVI, Premiere becomes temperemental.
