hi,

I exported my book to swf with page turn in indesign cs5. it is awesome and all but i wanted to make a presentation... is there a way to make it turn/flip the page by itself after let's say 5 seconds instead of having to use the mouse pointer?

thanks for helping guys :)

oh and i forgot to ask if it is possible to add background music that would loop too. i think what im asking should be possible to do within adobe flash cs5 but im really a newbie at it never used flash before... i mostly use photoshop and dreamweaver.

...indesign's built-in swf export functions are limited...and provided as a basic one-click export to swf with limited functionality...

...once you start needing anything more (like your asking here), then you really have to build and script in Flash actionscript...

...exporting to "fla" format from indesign is possible to import into flash, but it's not without it's quirks...

...so to fulfill what your asking you'll need to use Flash.

well, maybe you need a tool to help you to accomplish this, here i would like to share you with the cheap yet powerful page flip software to help you to create flash emagazines with ease, just have a try, hope it can help you!

well i actually used the normal pdf file and in acrobat reader i setup it to use full screen transitions and full screen navigation advance every x seconds + loop after last page
that was running in the backup during the presentation of the book :D was quite nice! just had vlc running too with some music...

but yeah that page flip software looks quite nice i have to give it a try. it's really cool to make some kind of file that will just run everywhere just like you intended it to run.

well for pictures i ended up using adobe bridge it's easy and fast too bad it don't accept PDF files xD
