Deal People,

Currently I'm using Adobe Distiller to generate pdf files from eps ones, which was saved through QuarkXpress.
But everytime I tried to open these pdf files, they will show erorr messages: file.pdf File may be in use, while I it actually hasn't been touched at all.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Dear Greg,

how do we actually print a .ps file from a quarxpress?
do we need any instalation or maybe a ps. print?

thank you.. ^_^

You need to setup a virtual printer, using a PPD file which you should have in Printer descriptions which you will find in the system folder\extensions\. Then in Quark print to a file rather than a printer. You will also have to make sure that ALL the fonts are downloaded and you use Binary not ascii. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
