hi,

I've seen this thing on certain Pc's where you go to print a doc and you can select adobe acrobat as the printer to print to. making any sence??

well i've seen it somewhere - where can i get this and will it let me convert to pdf format?? can't remember on which pc i saw this.

Any help appreciated - PArm

Its Adobe Acrobat Writer. The normal Reader won't let you do this...

When you install Writer, certain programs allow you to 'print' to a new file (the PDF).

Well, thatrenowned is right.
You need the full release of Acrobat from Adobe (the latest one is acrobat 5.0).
Acrobat Reader is free but not the full version.
This allow you to convert document to PDF directly from Office (a special plug-in is then installed in office).
This is really a usefull software.
