ADO Setup through code

Hi All,

I have created a control that calls a Database without using DSNs. Works fine on my machine - however it does not work on anyone elses machine. I think its because they do not have ODBC stuff set up etc - so my question is - can i do anything with my OCX so that it installs DAO on client machines - through code. Has anyone done anything like this before.

Any help would be appreciated as I am completely lost at the moment.

You can install MDAC (ms data access components) which includes DAO with a /quiet or /silent or something switch, i believe - so you could shell the MDAC installer from your app.
