Administrators Password

an employee left the company and he is the only one who know the Administartors Password on a Windows 2000 professional. My questions, is there a way to find out what the administartor password is or at least to be able to change it.

I appreciat any assistance in this matter.

Set up a bootable diskette with freeware tool NTFSDOS on it. Boot with it and copy this file : C:\WINNT\system32\config\SAM on it. Use LOphtcrack (

http://www.astake.com)

to crack the administrator password. You may have to buy L0phtcrack if brute force is required.
