Ok - right when I thought I had a pretty good understanding of NT...

My workstations log into both Novell & NT boxes. From any workstation on my network, I can not log in as administrator to the NT box. When I attempt, my first login box = Novell client. I login as admin, and that works just fine. However, when the Microsoft Network login box pops up, I change the user name to 'administrator' ensure my Domain is correct (I only have one) make sure caps lock is off. Type the password, and the system states "access denied."

Every user can login to both boxes just fine. I can login to each box just fine with my user name (which is admin equivilant on both boxes).

It seems there is something simple that I'm just over looking. Please offer feedback/suggestions. Thanks in advance ~

Can you log on as Administrator at the server itself? Is it possible that you have the Administrator account configured so that it can only log on locally? [sig][/sig]

tractorBoy -

Thanks for the suggestions. Your suggestion lead to me the final answer. As I was looking into the Admin account I noticed the 'account disabled' - haven't seen that before on the admin account of my own network. Checking my security log, it appears I locked myself outta the network.

. . . and I thought locking myself outta the car was bad!

Thanks again ~ [sig][/sig]
