Administrator Access

Hello,

I have a new XP home edition, I would like to know how I can check if I am logged on as an adminstrator, if I am not, how do I log on as an administrator.

Go to START->CONTROL PANEL->USER ACCOUNTS and there you will see your name and any others that users of the PC, under you name you will see either "Computer Administrator" or "Limited User" If you are the only name listed then by default, you are an administrator. If you are not, then you can restart in safe mode, log in as Administrator, and change your account type, provided that you have the Administrator password.
