Hopefully this is something someone can answer for me. I have a Win2K professional system. I am logged in as Administrator. I cannot see Administrative Tools when I go: Start - Programs.

If I go into Windows Explorer and look at the following:

Documents and Settings - Administrator - Start Menu - Programs

Adminstrative Tools are listed. If I paste the Administrative Tools folder to the Desktop, I can see it.

Is there any reason I cannot see it from the Programs menu?

Thanks

The folder should be here:- \Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools.

PS. Also, you should right click on taskbar, select properties, click on advanced tab and check the 'Display Administrative Tools' box.

I also think that you can get to Administrative tools in the following location:

\my computer\control panel\administrative tools

Cheers

Jamie

Thanks for the information.

wolluf, going to the taskbar is what what I needed. As usual Microsoft cannot leave well enough alone, has to hide something.

Thanks for all the help.
