Hello! We have a customer with 10 plus locations all with Avaya IP Office 8.1.96. At one location only, we have a weird log in problem. Recently, the customer loaded the latest Microsoft group policy settings that came out. Now the customer can not log in to the Administration login, even when a laptop is plugged directly into the LAN and WAN port on the chassis. (He can log in at all of his other IP Office systems at other locations with the latest security updates). However, when he removes the latest group policy updates from his laptop, he can log in to the IPO in question.

Again, at all his other locations he is fine with either the new or old Microsoft settings. At this one location, he can log in to Admin with the old Microsoft settings but not the new ones. We log in just fine (we dont have these policy settings on MS)

We tried a new chassis, with new combo cards, and put the SD card in the new test chassis just to test it, and got the same results.

The customer wants this location fixed- meaning he wants to log in like all of his other locations.

What else should we look at? thanks!

Group Policy Settings don't "come out". They're pushed out by whoever manages Group Policy for the Active Directory. The user can't "remove Group Policy updates".

Figure out what the actual problem is and you might get some help.

What error(s) do they receive?
