Hi there any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

A workgroup was created on my database, Admin user disabled and database was not backed up. Ooops+@#!! I've created a new database and imported all the tables, queries, macros, pages and modules. Unfortunately, I was unable to restore the Forms and Reports because there aren't any permissions assigned to the Unknown user. Any suggestions on how to restore the permission in the messed up database? Is there a way to delete the workgroups and start over?

Hi CharlesCook,

How are ya? Thanks for the info, as I have the passwords from the workgroup file......it still didn't help much. The database did not bring up a login dialog box so I couldn't login as different user.
Consequently, I been working on the database on two computers and decided to try one more thing. I sent the database to the secondary computer that I had previously modified the db and found that with the old workgroup settings I could then continue working with Admin rights again. Problem resolved.

Cheers!

To bring up the login dialog assign a password to the admin id.

Thanks CharlesCook for the tip. I will remember that for the next time I have a login problem.
