Admin password recovery???

I have a personal network in my home.. its controlled by my father...he is the only admin access on the network...

now he left the country for a month and I was wondering if its possible of abtaining the administrator password without taking the machine apart..

Conveniently enough, asking him wont work either because he says he has it written down somewhere in the house.. and well.. I cant find it.

Please help.. thanx..

You are out of luck , you would need a password cracker with brute force to crack password. You would be hacking your own computer. Removing battery would depend on your motherboard, probably have to be jumped. Best thing is to get password from father or find it.

He knows, I don't. Then find the crack so you can use the brute force option.

what do you need to get on the computer?
If all you care about is the files, then downloading "ntfs dos" and running it will give you access to the file from a dos boot.
