Can someone explain to be how to adjust the DB level on a PRI. Each PRI are coming directly from Time Warner. John Poole, what do you think???

pls don't post with names in the heading, makes others less likely to help. i usually make mistakes anyway. why do you need padding? unless it's in house point to point t, the provider should balance the t1. and the post is right, ld 73 ddb

We have an IVR that is going to be doing voice recognitioning. Apparently the IVR is not hearing all the voice commands. IVR is saying we need to pad the PRI to correct.

In an effort to understand your issue, how is the connection made? Your first post said PRI direct from TWT, but if the IVR is in the mix, how is the connection made?

If the T1 is coming into the PBX, is the IVR connected using another "PRI" connection, or a Line Side T1, or an analog connection? It may not be an issue with the PBX, or it could be how the IVR thinks it is getting a signal.

Just a suggestion: The way we approach these types of request where another piece of software/hardware is involved, is to let the supplier of that part tell us how the Meridian switch should be set to interface properly with their piece. Integrstion documentation is the proper term I believe. You shouldn't be the one trying to come up with a way for their integrastion to work. That is unless you own all parts. If you do, then the manufacturer of that part should be able to provide same info...

Proper spelling of proper term is Integration Doc!

we don't grade spelling. if we did i would get ran off!
