I think I set up outbound caller ID manipulation with the following:
voice translation-rule 50
rule 5 /624[5-9]/ /xxxxxx6245/ (First 6 numbers replaced
rule 6 /625[0-4]/ /xxxxxx6250/ with x's for security)
rule 7 /625[5-9]/ /xxxxxx6255/
rule 8 /626[0-4]/ /xxxxxx6260/
!
!
voice translation-profile Outbound
translate calling 50
dial-peer voice 1 pots
translation-profile outgoing Outgoing
answer-address .T
destination-pattern T
port 0/0/1:23
The phone company turned off "every outbound call on the PRI gets the BTN as caller ID" today - and no on can make outbound calls now. The phone company says it is because the outbound caller ID is not valid. I am sitting ~1000 miles from the CCME router. I have telnet access to the router.
Questions: Anyway I can initiate a test outbound call remotely?
Have I setup the outbound caller ID manipulation correctly?
