aditional DAT unit

Hi

We have VoOP Logger 8.9 and CLS 8.9. In VoIP logger we have 1 dat unit for archiving and retrieving. Now when we want to retrieve recordings, we must stop archiving and then insert tape for retrieval. Now we installed additional DAT witch is dedicated for archiving only and retrieving will be done on the second dat unit. So far so good, but now we do not know how to install this new dat unit in CLS Admin so that can be configured.
Any kind of help is more than welcome.

was this purachased as an upgrade from NICE, if not just installing a DAT drive will not work.

No it was not purachased as an upgrade from NICE.
What options do we have?

If you go to Nice administartor/backup and select the logger, can you see the dat drive you added?

My guess is no and you can only purchase a upgrade from (not) Nice.

Nice need to send a new logger config so that the logger recognises the dat drive first.
