Hey guys,

this is my first system doing an ADI to PLDS migration.

I got my LAC from avaya PLDS via email. I logged in to plds.avaya.com to get my licence/key. I keep getting "There are no available entitlements to activate for the LAC or LACs you provided."

In the email i see all the existing licenses (they were ADI on a R9 system).

has anyone else run in to this?

It gets easier, here's my notes from the first couple of times

-Get LAC code from email
-Go to plds.avaya.com, paste LAC code and click Activate
-Give the License Host a plain name, like "ABC Company Site A", click Save, next page opens
-If necessary select the company from the drop down, click Next
-Chose stay on existing version for upgrade path selection, click Next
-Host ID is the Feature Key from the IPO. If it doesn't start with 11, type 11 and then paste the Feature Key number. -Now edit the number so it is 2 digits, dash, 2 digits, dash, etc (11-22-33-44-55-66)
-Click Activate All to put all of the licenses on the LAC onto the IPO. Click Next
-Check the box to accept the EULA, enter your email address, add any notes to accompany the email, click Next
-Watch your email for the .xml file, but you can also click the link to download it if you're working from the computer that you're using to manage the IPO

turned out an avaya engineer that was helping me previously already registered my LAC and had the plds auto email send me my xml file. that explains why when i reached back out initially they couldn't find the entitlement. also, i remember him asking questions that are in line with what touchtonetommy was mentioning.

If someone already activated all licenses on the LAC code then that's why you got the message.

You should still be able to use the LAC code to View Activation Record and to rehost the licenses in PLDS.
