address bar problem

Hi all,
On my internet browser (IE explorer 6)when I type an http address starting with the letter "a", on the address bar appears on old address the I used in the past; I tried to scan the registry to look for this data, plus installed some tools for cleaning cache, temp files and the like but the above address is still there; do you have any idea on how to get rid of this bug?

You might want to turn off the auto complete as well:

tools, internet options, content, auto complete.
