If I have mutliple media agents will the increase the number of streams at once I can run? I am asuming it can.

Windows Haiku:

In theory it will increase the maximum number of streams you can run, and it will increase your network throughput for network backups.

Whether or not you need multiple media agents depends on how many tape drives, whether or not the drives are SAN based, how much data your backing up, etc -- (of course you should have at least 2 for redundancy)

Well currently I only have a single tape drive which is used to weekly, monthly, and yearly full backups. all other backups go to disk. Thanks for the assist.
