We backup our data "level 4" during week. On weekend we perform a full backup. The tapes are stored offside.
For possible restores we like to do a additional daily full backup to a second library. These tapes stay onsite.
What type of backup / pool type should we use in order that the archive bit is not changed during the daily full backup ?

Any tipps ?
Thanks Manfred

don't know about archive bits because I'm on unix,
but what I do is:
*) full backup -> offsite
*) next day full backup -> onsite

So all inc. or diff. rely on the onsite backup, you can
do a full restore without the offsite tapes.

I hope that's what you want ...

Why don't you do the level 4 backup first before you run the full?
