Adding Variables??? Please Help 1

How do I take say $user and $room
where $user = "chuck" and $room = "lobby" and make it
so that $userroom = "chuck lobby"

Just for educational purposes:
Appending one string to another is called concatenation. As pointed out bu dustman the dot operator "." is used to concatenate variables that hold string values.
