Hi Guys

I'm sure i've seen a thread about this but with the search not looking at recent events i can't find it o here goes

Have a 3300MXE on 4.1 and i want to add extrnal entries into the phone book like i've been able to do before, but in 4.1 when i add an external or ARS routed number it comes up DN cannot be found (or similar). It seems at the moment i can only add internal numbers to the tel dir

I remember someone else having this issue, can someone help?

Thanks

Matt

Have you tried to add them as 'local only'?

it's trying to add direct in the tel dir so you can search for them

local only is when you don;t want to put them in the tel dir

Does your outgoing ARS have a digit length or is it unknown?
Try to change the number of digits to follow to be the same length as the number you are trying to add.
Also have you tried to add a 'Alpha tagged' entry?
e.g. 9~01234567890

defo got ARS digits in their, will check the length

I've tested on other standalone 4.1 systems and works ok

I'm sure i've read a similar post

we riased with tech support it is a bug that even on standalone systems you need to create a cluster for it to work.

DPAR raised.

We were on 4.1sp2pr1
