Hi,

I'm a relative new user of Sharepoint 2.0 and would like to know how to add a site image to our internal intranet page. when I click on modify my page and select add web parts the only options available are browse, search & import.

When I try to modify site parts the only options available are Links & Announcements.

We would also be interested in applying a custom theme of blue & yellow if anyone knows how to do this.

Any help would be great, thanks everyone

hey,

what exactly do you mean by "site image"? are you talking about branding? if yes then look at master pages.

for changing the colors you need to change the theme of the site. you can access it using:
Site Actions -> Site Settings -> Site Theme (Under look and feel)...

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull

Hey vbkris,

I mean like adding our company logo to the site, would you know how to do this?

I am modifying this through my browser and don't have the options of master pages or look and feel :S

'Use the links on this page to manage site settings and update your personal information on this Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 site'

That is what it says at the top of the customisation page
