This is a beginners question but I have to ask it. I must add a new type 500 line to our system. I went to the TN block and found what I think is an open slot. I ran my crossover wires to the DN block and then ran my wires to the phone. I then went into LD 10 and copied an existing analog port. Everything went smoothly but the line seems to be dead. Did I do things correctly? Any ideas? I am working with Meridian 1 Option 21 Release 17.76.

LD 20
REQ: LUVU (LIST UNUSED VOICE UNITS)
TYPE: 500 (ANALOG TYPE SETS)
TN: <CR>

PICK A TN FROM THE LIST. BUILD THE PHONE OR COPY THE PHONE TO THAT TN. CHECK THE 66/110 BLOCK WITH A BUT SET OR AN ANALOG PHONE TO MAKE SURE IT IS WORKING. COMPLETE THE BUILD BY DOING THE CROSS-CONNECT.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO BUILD A PORT ON AN UNEQUIPPED CARD SLOT. USING THE LUVU COMMAND LIST ONLY EQUIPPED CARD SLOTS AND AVAILABLE PORTS ON THOSE CARDS
