Adding new loop for Dual Pri card 2

I am needing to add new loops for a Dual PRI card. I am not certian which loop numbers to make them (I think I need to add 2 loops?)

you don't really need to do that, do you know where group 0 shelf 1 is? you can look and see wether anything is in 20-23 card slot.

In the core network module group 0 shelf 1 the slots numbered 1,2,3,5,7 are all open.

So that would be 16,17 18,19 20,21 24,25 and 28 29 I believe, am I counting them right Indian?

do you see your conf/tds card in 16/17? You have no SPL labels at the bottom of your cage? you have conf/tds then a single blank (within SPL 16 right side), then the next SPL slot is 20

0/0 would house 0-15 0/1 will house 16-31
loop count.

that makes sence now. yes 18 19, 20 21, 22 23, 26 27, 30 31 are all open. so ill put the card in slot 2 and make it loops 20 and 21? I need to label the slots with the loop numbers.

start with the conf/tds card as 16/17 like indian said and its pretty easy, I still have to cheat on the bigger systems with with 6 or 7 network groups. I usyally label them like you mentioned

Are u using a DCH as well with a DCH daughterboard or MSDL card? Don't forget the PRI Card has dip switches and make sure they are correct or you will have issues.

I am going to be using a Dch daughterboard (ntbk51aa) does this need to be assigned a loop?

No need to assign it a loop, it will reside on the NT5D12 ddp card. When you buil.d the DCH in ADAN use card type msdl and the loop number will be the loop number of the T1

i have msdl 10 and 12 i guess this new on will be 14 on the card dip switches

You will have to set the dnum number of the new msdl with the dipswitches on the dual pri card

pulls from your TNs pool, which is lik 32k, not from digital. IP, Analog etc lics...so should be good.
