Hello,

I have a range of DID's from 8750 - 8799. If I select the ACOD 4009 I can then dial each number.

How do I setup to pick up the phone, dial 8750 and have it go over ACOD 4009.

Thanks,

Frank

I take it these are at the other end of the TIE trunk?

Yes, these extension are in Brazil and I'm dialing from NY. The TIE Line is works when I select it manually, but I want to be able to pick up the phone and just dial the number.

Make an RLI in ld 86 for that TIE route.

Then make a DSC in ld 87 that references that RLI

If you have nothing on 8700 thru 8749 then you could just use a DSC 87 or you could have DSC 875, 876, 877, 878, 879
probably a better choice, no reason to burn or lock in the lower 87xx range.
all properly going out you TIE.

You have 87XX in use on your system? Do you use AC1 & AC2 or just AC1?

PRT ESN in ld 86, if AC2 is 8 & AC1 is 9 (I bet it is) no worries. So, you must have a HLOC, home loc code for your pbx. prt AC2 HLOC in ld 90, should be 3 digits.

Basiclly same setup almost - Brazil will have to cooperate on their end. They put a HLOC in their pbx & a LOC for your site.

So, you build a LOC in 90 for them - with RLI that sends the calls down that route.
If my HLOC was 260 & Brazil 235 - I would call Brazil with:
8- 235 - 8750

Make sense?

fyi -hloc really over see's on-net off-net dialing. If you get you loc code in for them in 90 under ac2 you should be able to dial them.

You don't need a DMI, enter past it. Unless you have a problem or error to report back to us.

I figured it out, I actually used AC2 for my access. I created a new RLI that points to the TIE line. I then created a new SPN under AC2 called 87 and pointed the RLI to the new one I created. Once that was complete, I'm now able to pick up the phone dial 8+87xx and my calls go through.

Thank you so much for all your help.
