Is it possible to have a directory with 30 images and automate PowerPoint to place an image on 30 different slides?

I'm not sure I asked the question right but what i want to do is take a directory full of images and create a presentation out of it. My problem is that adding a new slide then adding an image to that slide is quite time consuming so I would like to know is there some way to automate that and if so HOW?

Not sure this is possible.

But as an experienced user of PowerPoint I'd expect the whole exercise to take no more that 5-10 minutes. So unless its something you need to do regularly its probably less time that trying to sort something.

Well I finished putting 94 images onto 94 seperate slides in the amount of time it took to get an answer on here so I guess time saved is time earned, it surely would of been alot less painful if I could of automated it.

JustWakinUp,

There's a whole load of multiple image insert add-ins for powerpoint. In fact powerpoint 2002/XP/2003 has it built in. (insert > picture > new photo album), but it's not as flexible as some of these....see
