Does anyone know how to add subscribers in bulk on the new CMM (the IA770 with CM 5.2)? There doesn't appear to be any more "command line" access via the VM login, so I can't use the import feature in ASA. I tried following the MSS instructions for using Mailbox Manager(because the new CMM looks just like the MSS). But, that didn't work either. There has got to be a better way than one at a time via the Web Interface, but I can't find anything in the documentation. Over the modem it takes over a minute and half per subsriber. So, just to add 10 mailboxes take 15 minutes! That's just nutty.

Anyone? Thanks!

If you use "SSH" on port 22, and login with the "vm" login to the IP address of the S8300, you can still get to a terminal style interface, and if you have ProVision, you can add the subscribers from that.

If you don't have ProVision, you can do an "add sub xxxx" old school style and that also works.

I had tried that already, but it didn't work. Turned out that the VM and SA password were both disabled. I didn't notice that when I went through and set the password. The "old" way worked fine once my logins worked.

Thanks!

Yes, it turns out that the 'vm' and 'sa' logins are by default 'locked' on CM 5.2, and you must unlock them, to use them... and of course set the password you want at the same time.
