I have been looking everywhere for a way that I can have the SMS hardware inventory pick up the makes and models of the monitors that are connected the the PCs in our network. For the most part, the PCs are all Windows NT 4.0 and the majority of the monitors are Viewsonic but the info is not reported. Have you tried using the mofman (smstools) and editing the sms_def.mof file on the sms server to inventory the specifics you have been looking for. There will 2 files if you do a search one under sms\inboxes\clifiles.src\hinv This is the path you want too modify the other will update Cap.... automatically.
