I am trying to develop some interface files for some of my 3rd party vendors utilizing Reportsmith. Does anyone know how to create filler columns ?

you can create a SQL Derived Field containing spaces or zeros or whatever you need.

Or you can use LPAD and RPAD to add spaces or zeros or whatever you need to a Derived Field.

Yes, I do it all of the time. Simply create a derived field with the heading name that you want and just put ' ' in the box. Save, and you're done. It'll make a blank field.
