I've just added a fast ether module to my 3640 but cannot see it in bootstrap or sh int. Am I missing something or is it simply DOA?
The module has 2 x 100BaseTX & 1 x WIC 1T in it, if I pull out the primary module there are absolutely no adapters listed.

Yours,
Braindead...

I had the same experience.
I upgraded to a newer IOS and the interfaces showed up.
regards,
Alain

As Alain said, most likely an IOS incompatibility...

Just to be sure though, you could try the NM in another slot... or even another router if you had one... Or, remove the WIC-1T and then reboot and see if that makes a difference...

But, most likely IOS...

Try this firmware version , I had the same problem at this sorted it out

c3640-d-mz.121-2.T.bin

Good luck and I hope it not too late

Thanks everyone,

It was indeed the IOS version, now up and running.
