Hello,
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way I could add an external number (cell phone number) to be part of a huntgroup in IP Office. I thought I would be able to do it by creating a dummy extension and then just setting it to forward to a cell phone number but it doesn't ring at all when I call the huntgroup. I even made sure "Forward Hunt Group Calls" was checked off. Is there another way to achieve this that I'm just not thinking of or is it not possible to do at all?

Thanks,
Kyle

Have you ever looked at the Mobility tab on user configuration? =)

Yes I have. Unfortunately I've had zero luck with that as well. It works fine when calling the extension directly but when you call the huntgroup that the user is apart of, it doesn't ring the user's cell phone at all.

Only Sequential and Rotary hunt group calls are eligible for Unconditional Call Forwarding

Mobility allows for "Hunt Group Calls Eligible for Mobile Twinning" - and be sure to check "Twin When Logged Out"

...and confirm that you can transfer/forward external calls back out to external numbers first. By default that is blocked on most systems.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thank you TouchToneTommy. I was missing checking off the "Hunt Group Calls Eligible for Mobile Twinning Option". I'm not sure how I missed that. Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions as well.
