I acquired a few extra DLT7000s for a 9714 that we have here and was interested in getting them working. The unit, however, is set for only 2 drives and will not recognize the new ones as being in the library. If anyone has any information about adding drives to this library or any manuals that may help I would very much appreciate it.

Adding Drives to a 9714

power cycle the library. when the display indicates download BTO.x. press the execute button several times. it will after a few seconds bring you to a config screen where you can select the number of drives in the library.
