Hi All.

Let me start out by telling you that I have some knowledge of this system, but I have a huge Siemens/Rolm backgroud that is getting in the way.

I moved my 824 this weekend to a new building and it seems the internal battery was not good and I lost my config. I have just about everything up and running again with the exception of night service and 6 of my 8 co lines.

Lines 1&2 are still configured, but 3->8 are dead keys and I can not figure out how to get these re-configured. I have dial tone on the lines, but can not access them from the sets.

Also, I had a key programmed on one set that would manually put the phone in night service.

Any help would be excellent!
David

Go into programming and assign the lines you want to each of the phones make them either appear and ring or just appear which ever you want.

Just a squirrel trying to get a nut...

I don't believe it! I looked for hours at this issue and it was as simple as you stated. I was making it too complex.

Thanks again!

You should also think about replacing the memory cartridge or as soon as you loose power, even if only a few seconds, you will lose programming again. The downside is that when you replace the cartridge, you will lose programming again. After that, though, the memory cartridge will be good for approx. 3 yrs and you would keep the programming, even if you lost power during that time.
